You Can Take a Blogger's Pen But...

Newly minted, though not yet on the air, CBS Evening News anchor Katie Couric has been on a national tour doing focus group meetings. Apparently a blogger was invited to join the audience in Minneapolis, but then he was uninvited, then allowed in... but his pen was confiscated.

Huh!?! Sounds like one of President Bush's ultra-orchestrated campaign townhalls! And I always kind of liked Katie too. Besides, like taking the pen away is going to prevent any blogger worth his or her links from writing about the experience.
