Macaca Incident Has Legs

It looks like the flap over the offensive comments uttered by Senator George Allen (R-VA) may actually impact the Virginia Senate race, at least by energizing his opponent's supporters.

Allen's remarks are now making their way around YouTube as the incident becomes a national story (at least among political types). MoveOn has even issued a call for the Republican Senatorial Campaign Committee to dump Allen in the wake of the scandal. And, you know you're in trouble when the Daily Show picks up the story:
