Hotel Mini-Bar Keys Open Diebold Voting Machines

Well, more great news on Maryland's Diebold electronic voting machines. It seems the same Princeton minds that brought us last week's Diebold hack, stumbled across another nice security feature of the machines. The security lock that protects the memory cards? Well, it uses the same key many hotel mini-bars do (as well as any number of filing cabinets, jukeboxes, etc). They were even able to buy one on eBay. Nice!

So glad to know that security and the integrity of the vote were at the top of the list when Diebold designed the machine!
