Delegate Debate

You know one of the great things about having people challenge incumbents and not letting elected officials continually run unopposed? You can actually have a debate about the issues! Such is the case in my own legislative district this year, as there are now four candidates vying for District 39's three seats in the Maryland General Assembly (in the Democratic primary election).

The District 39 Democratic Club is sponsoring a debate between Delegate candidates Saqib Ali, Charles Barkley, Nancy King and Joan Stern this Saturday, June 24 at 2:00pm. State Senator PJ Hogan will also participate. This interesting event will be held at the Upcounty Regional Service Center (12900 Middlebrook Rd, Germantown, MD 20874). Please attend!
